In the provision of editing, tutoring and copywriting services, every effort has been made to provide a professional and high quality service that is affordable for clients.
Elite Editing & Tutoring services and information are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. Elite Editing & Tutoring services and information shall be used for educational purposes only and are not to be relied upon otherwise.
Users of this service are solely responsible for the content, quality and final use of their documents. Elite Editing & Tutoring, Dr. Lisa Lines and all editors, make no warranties or representations whatsoever regarding the quality, content, completeness, suitability, adequacy, sequence or accuracy of the final use of documents by users.
The users of this service hereby agree to fully indemnify Elite Editing & Tutoring in relation to the quality, content, completeness, suitability, adequacy, sequence and accuracy of the users' documents. The users of this service hereby agree to fully indemnify Elite Editing & Tutoring in relation to any inaccurate or misleading statements, representations or information contained in the documents prepared by the users in reliance on alleged or actual representations, misleading statements and information provided by Elite Editing & Tutoring and its agents, employees and assignees.
If misleading, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate services or information provided by Elite Editing & Tutoring are brought to its attention, a reasonable effort will be made to remedy the issue.
Elite Editing & Tutoring shall have no liability for any indirect or consequential losses or expenses suffered by the users of this service however these may have been caused.
Therefore:
- Clients are advised that plagiarism and breach of copyright are very serious offences. Elite Editing & Tutoring assumes no responsibility for such content. We do not do your research for you.
- Elite Editing & Tutoring retains the right to refuse to edit any document that we deem to be offensive or objectionable, or suspect is plagiarised.
- Elite Editing & Tutoring retains the right to refuse to write any document for a copywriting client if we deem the project to be offensive or objectionable.
- Elite Editing & Tutoring does not take responsibility for lost work. Clients must retain their original document and submit copies for editing.
- Elite Editing & Tutoring retains the right to refuse any work that we feel cannot be completed before the client's deadline.
- All prices quoted are estimates only and are subject to change without notice. These estimates are based on a variety of factors, including the amount and degree of difficulty of editing or writing necessary for any document. Clients are encouraged to obtain a specific quotation for their document or project prior to paying and submitting the document for editing or the project for copywriting.
- Elite Editing & Tutoring does not provide any warranties of its services, expressed or implied. While every effort is made to ensure that your grades will improve, we do not guarantee that your grades will improve after using our service. (This is because your grades ultimately depend on factors that are out of our control, such as the content of your document, quality of your research, opinion of your lecturer or tutor, etc.) Moreover, while every effort is made to ensure that the services we provide for business and other clients will help them to achieve their goals (such as increased sales or web traffic), we do not guarantee that these goals will be achieved after using our service. (This is because the achievement of these goals ultimately depends on factors that are out of our control.)
- Any corrections, comments or suggestions made by Elite Editing & Tutoring in connection with editing a document or copywriting are those deemed appropriate for the job. The use of these corrections, comments or suggestions is at the discretion of the client.
- Elite Editing & Tutoring is not responsible for any circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from fulfilling our contract (e.g. power cuts/black-outs/the corruption of files). In these circumstances, the client may be entitled to a refund of monies paid. All such refunds are at the sole discretion of Elite Editing & Tutoring.
Overview:
Elite Editing & Tutoring aims to provide a professional and high quality service. It is hoped that the client will enter into this relationship in a spirit of mutual benefit. We believe that you will be very satisfied with our service and the standard of our editing and copywriting.
Error and Omissions
Elite Editing & Tutoring is not responsible for any errors or omissions that occur because the client did not clearly communicate their requirements.
Payment
Payment is to be made by the client before editing or copywriting commences.
Signing Off
Once Elite Editing & Tutoring receives an email from you stating that you are happy with our work, or if we have not heard from you within seven days of returning your edited or copy written document (14 days for a document of over 50,000 words), we assume you have ‘signed off’ on the project and our work. This means that you are then completely responsible for the use of your document and we will not be held accountable for any outcomes.
Revisions and Corrections
In almost all cases, our clients are completely satisfied with our work the first time. However, if you contact us within seven days of our returning your edited or copy written document (14 days for a document of over 50,000 words), we will revise or clarify any area of our editing free of charge. Please note that we will only revise or clarify work that is within the scope of the original project (i.e. we will not revise or edit altered or new content free of charge, nor will we write new work outside of the original scope of the copywriting project). The presence of errors that require revision or correction does not indicate that we have not performed our service well or in accordance with these terms and conditions.
It is important to note that while we do our very best work to improve your document, we do not guarantee that it will be ‘perfect’ or ‘error free’. Our service provides for one comprehensive edit of a document and it is not always possible to remove 100% of errors from a document with one edit, particularly from those documents with a higher than average number of errors. The process of editing will improve your document significantly and all editing is performed to a very high standard. The presence of a small number of errors, particularly in lengthy documents or those that originally contained a very high number of errors, does not indicate that we have not performed our service well or in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Similarly, while we do our very best work in writing your copy as part of our copywriting service, we do not guarantee that it will be ‘perfect’ or ‘error free’. The presence of a small number of errors does not indicate that we have not performed our service well or in accordance with these terms and conditions. As stated above, the client is completely responsible for the use of the final document and we will not be held accountable for any outcomes.
Security and Privacy
Elite Editing & Tutoring will not sell, distribute or share your information, or any part thereof, to a third party. Clients may request that documents be destroyed after a job has been completed. If this instruction is not received, Elite Editing & Tutoring may retain a copy of your documents for backup purposes only.
If a student contacts us with the sole and express purpose of hiring us to write work for them (i.e. to assist them to plagiarise, which we expressly do not do), we may report him or her to his or her university or educational institution.
Contract Termination
Elite Editing & Tutoring or any of its editors may terminate a project at any time for any reason.
Academic Liability
Elite Editing & Tutoring recognises that the academic evaluation of students' work depends on a number of factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: meeting criteria, validity of the work, originality of the work, accuracy of the work, and opinion of the lecturer/tutor/assessor. We cannot be held legally or otherwise responsible for disappointing grades due to these or any other factors, including the negligence of editors or staff, or claims of such negligence.
Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold Elite Editing & Tutoring, its editors, employees and contractors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable fees and costs for the service of an attorney, or as may be made by any third party due to or arising from use of the service or website, or violation by the client, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity by the client.
Limitation of Liability
Elite Editing & Tutoring, its editors, employees and contractors are not liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including lost revenues or profits, loss of business or loss of data, in any way related to this service or for any claim, loss or injury based on errors or omission, interruptions or any other inaccuracies (including, without limitation, as a result of any breach of warranty or other term of this agreement.) A client's remedy for claim shall be limited to the amount he or she has paid, if any, to us, provided that proof of claim is demonstrated. All our editors provide the best possible service to the best of their ability and do not guarantee that edited documents are 'perfect' or 'without error'. Those who access this service choose to do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws and university policies and guidelines.
Website: No Warranty
While every effort has been made to ensure that the information published on the website is accurate, Elite Editing & Tutoring and www.eliteediting.com.au shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including any indirect or consequential loss) arising in any way from inaccuracies published on the website. Elite Editing & Tutoring makes no warranty of any kind regarding quality, accuracy or completeness of any content on the website, which may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors, or the use of the website or any hyperlinked website. To the full extent permitted by law, all representations, conditions and warranties are excluded.
