Essay Editing & Thesis Editing Prices
All editing prices are based on the length (word count) of your essay and how soon you would like it returned to you. Normally, editing is done in 48 hours. If you would like your essay returned to you quicker you may choose our Express Service (24 hours). For urgent editing that you need done in less than 24 hours, you must contact us in advance to check that this is possible.
All prices are in Australian Dollars. If you would like a quote in a different currency, please contact us.
Check your word count
To find out the correct price to pay for editing, you first must know the word count of your document. To find out your word count in Microsoft Word (version 2003 and below), click on Tools in your toolbar, then click on Word Count. The word count is the number next to 'Words', second from the top. If you want your footnotes, references and bibliography edited you must include these in your word count (i.e. you must use the word count for your entire document). To do this click the box to 'include footnotes and endnotes' when checking your word count on Microsoft Word. If you do not want your referencing checked, then you do not need to include your footnotes or bibliography in the word count. But you must specify (tell us) this in your email when you submit your essay.
To find out your word count when using Microsoft Word 2007 (Windows Vista), follow the same process as outlined above, except first click on Review instead of Tools.
Decide how soon you would like your essay to be returned to you
You pay a cheaper price if you allow more time. You pay a slightly more expensive price if you need your work edited quickly. It is always a good idea to plan ahead, and make sure you leave time to have your assignment edited prior to your due date. For important essays, it is also a good idea to contact us in advance to let us know you will be submitting a document. This way Elite Editing & Tutoring can schedule time for one of our editors to do your editing.
